SAT Essay

SAT Essay is part of the SAT Writing section. SAT Essay aims at testing students ability to:

• Analyze the given argument and build an opinion on the same.



• Support the opinion with justified reasonings.



• Use Standard Written English conventions.

SAT Essay Writing

The candidate is supposed to write an essay on one given topic. The time alloted for SAT Essay is 25 minutes.

SAT Essay Score

SAT essay will be scored by the high school and college teachers in the scale of 0 to 6. SAT Essay score usually account for approximately 30% of the final score.
